Pastel Premier Eco Boards feature 100% cotton, archival quality sanded pastel paper that is double-primed and coated with an aluminum oxide to produce an ideal surface for pastel painting. The base paper is heavy 145 lb. (300 gsm) and withstands any measure of scrubbing and re-working. This paper accepts as many as 25 layers of pastel, and works well with oil and acrylic paints, colored pencils and other dry media. Pastel Premier paper is mounted on a 1/8" Eco Board that is sturdy, light-weight and made with environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. No more taping or mounting pastel paper - the mounted boards are designed for easy use, storage and transport.
