February Framing Favourites

January was a great month to clean and sort through old photographs and drawers of things you have always meant to get around to!
For us it was about cleaning our workshop and sorting our frame supplies.  After a month of sales we still have so many framing remnants to choose from! All our remaining odds and sods are now 60% off custom cut to suit the amazing treasures you found while cleaning up.

January was amazing and we've had a busy month full of framing and printing. Thank-you so much for your support! Some of our favourite projects from the past month include...
This charming crow by David Bannister
This delightful little sketch made it easy to find the perfect match. What a beautiful difference framing can make, now he really has a special perch! January 23 was National Handwriting day, and here is such a beautiful example of how calligraphy can be used within a composition!

William Sherman WWII veteran and Canadian Artist gifted each of his crew an original painting.
Here is one of his Paisley Mill paintings brought in by a customer last week. What a special story!

We even got to read a handwritten letter by the artist himself! The customer gave us a photocopy of the letter. She even brought in a newspaper clipping about the artist and his career! We love to hear your stories, keep on sharing!

This feathered couple.
Our favourite from the month. The two birds are made of actual feathers like an old Victorian craft and we found a gold frame with feather relief details in it!
